A key visual and new PV have been revealed for the upcoming fall anime Imouto sae Ireba ii., as well as broadcast details!
Imouto sae Ireba ii. is a romantic comedy centered around Hashima Itsuki, a novelist who only writes books themed around younger sisters. The original series is serialized in Gagaga Bunko (Shogakukan), and more than 850,000 copies have been released of the 7 volumes. The author of the original work, Hirasaka, was also the creator behind Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai which was adapted into an anime in 2011 and 2013.
The new key visual features the main characters walking across a pedestrian crossing, with the text “A fun daily life, but something’s missing.” appearing across the sky.
As for the new PV, it begins with a younger novelist saying to Itsuki, “You’re a real pervert, having no interest in anything but younger sisters!” Despite loving younger sisters, Itsuki has none of his own, a fact he laments over.
The PV also shows other characters including Chihiro, Shirakawa Miyako, and Fuwa Haruto. The background music is a preview of the opening theme by Choucho, “Ashita no Kimi sae Ireba ii.”
